We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join an in-house legal team supporting real estate, land, and title matters within a fast-paced energy environment. This role partners closely with legal, land, and project teams to support transactions from due diligence through closing. This is a long-term, indefinite contract opportunity offering stability and the chance to be embedded within a collaborative, business-facing team.
Real Estate Paralegal – In-House (Energy / Oil & Gas) - CONTRACT
Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: Competitive + Holiday Pay, 2-Weeks PTO, and Health Benefits Offered
Employment Type: Long-Term, Indefinite Contract - no end date - will be ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

• Support real estate transactions from initial due diligence through closing, including acquisitions, divestitures, and project development
• Review title commitments, surveys, and related documents; identify and assist in resolving title issues and discrepancies
• Draft and prepare real estate and transactional documents, including easements, leases, assignments, and closing materials
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including title companies, surveyors, and outside counsel
• Track key deadlines, milestones, and deliverables across multiple projects
• Maintain organized transaction files and documentation within internal systems
• Assist with document management, data tracking, and reporting related to real estate activities
• Support compliance and due diligence efforts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal (in-house or law firm experience supporting transactions)
• Strong experience with real estate transactions, title review, and due diligence
• Experience in energy, oil & gas, land, or ROW environments preferred
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with business teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems a plus
