A leading international law firm is seeking a Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join its Charlotte office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, investment funds, and institutional clients in sophisticated commercial real estate finance transactions.
• 2+ years of real estate finance, commercial lending, banking, or finance experience
• Experience with commercial real estate lending transactions, acquisition financings, construction loans, and secured lending matters preferred
• Experience representing lenders, borrowers, financial institutions, private equity sponsors, or investment funds
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documents, guaranties, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documents
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage transactions while working directly with clients and deal teams
• Experience with structured finance, CMBS, or syndicated lending transactions is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• North Carolina bar admission required or ability to become admitted
