They work closely with municipalities, investors, and legal professionals to bring projects from concept to completion. They are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to handle property acquisitions, lease negotiations, municipal approvals, entitlements, and regulatory compliance.Job Description Handle commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, leases, financing documents, and closing documents.Manage land use and zoning approvals, including variances, site plan approvals, and municipal permits.Represent the company before zoning boards, planning commissions, and other government agencies.Conduct due diligence on real estate transactions, including title reviews, environmental assessments, and zoning compliance checks.Advise on regulatory compliance, ensuring projects align with local, state, and federal laws.Collaborate with external counsel on land use disputes, zoning appeals, and real estate litigation.Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in NJ and in good standing with the bar (NY license is a plus).7+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, land use, or zoning.Proven ability to secure zoning approvals, variances, and entitlements.Strong contract negotiation and real estate transactional skills.Experience working with developers, municipal agencies, and real estate professionals.Familiarity with environmental compliance, easements, and title issues is a plus.Why This Is a Great Opportunity Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) retirement plan with company match.Paid time off, including vacation and personal days.Work directly with a respected real estate development team on high-impact projects.Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Full-timeJob function LegalIndustries Law Practice#J-18808-Ljbffr
