This company offers tremendous opportunity for growth, an outstanding benefits package and a great environment.Responsibilities:Oversee assigned property and/or debt investment accounting staff.Manage the monthly closing and consolidation process.Analyze budget to actual results and discuss with senior executives.Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and investor reports.Ensure compliance with Fund/Account partnership agreements and investor side letters.Manage investment management fee and incentive fee calculations.Prepare joint venture waterfall calculations.Manage preparation of capital accounts and returns calculations.Calculate distributions and manage debt covenant compliance.Oversee external audit process and manage third-party relationships.Develop and manage performance reporting accounting staff.Adhere to internal controls surrounding financial reporting and compliance.Perform other ad hoc accounting duties as required.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience (7 preferred) in real estate or private equity industry.Public accounting and CPA/CPA candidate a plusExperience with financial statements preparation required.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree in business administration required, accounting concentration preferred.Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior levelEmployment type Employment type Full-timeJob function Job function Accounting/AuditingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Financial Additions by 2xInferred from the description for this job Medical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Get notified when a new job is posted.Sign in to set job alerts for “Accounting Manager” roles.
