Position Summary: Gate Service Driver is responsible for driving a modified golf cart on the airport ramp to provide catering services to airline customers in a timely manner. The Driver must follow all safety procedures when loading and unloading equipment into the warehouse, carts, and aircraft.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage and deliver multiple tasks and delivering them within the assigned deadlines. • Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime when mandated. • Arrive to work on-time and in uniform. • Maintain a clean driving record. • Complete paperwork. • Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatchers. • Work as a member of a team.
Job Skills: • Current driver's license and clean driving record required. • Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport.
Environmental Requirements: • Will be exposed to utmost temperature changes and noise. • Be able to work up to ten (10) feet in the air. • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds. • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
