Under minimal supervision, performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year in diagnostic radiography REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State registration. Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registry eligible. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network
