We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join a respected healthcare organization known for delivering exceptional patient care through some of the nation's top providers. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional who is passionate about providing accurate diagnostic imaging and outstanding patient service.
Responsibilities
- Execute physician imaging orders accurately and efficiently.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Develop and process radiographic images according to department standards.
- Maintain and inspect X-ray equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Transport X-ray films and laboratory specimens as needed.
- Ensure timely follow-up and communication of imaging results with Radiologists.
- Demonstrate knowledge of digitizing room procedures and imaging workflows.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification required.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of radiology experience.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist license.
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
