Responsibilities


+ Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients

+ Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order

+ Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity

+ Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.

+ Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.


Qualifications


+ Current CPR certification

+ CRT & Fluoroscopy Permit certification

+ Minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff technologist

+ ARRT certification in Mammography Computed Tomography Cardiac/Interventional Radiology or MRI and must spend at least 25% of clinical time working in the specialty.

+ Demonstrates extensive knowledge of principles protocols techniques and procedures of Diagnostic Radiography and specialty.


This position is represented by SEIU Local UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
