As a Radiology District Manager, you will lead imaging operations across multiple locations, ensuring exceptional patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical quality. This role is responsible for driving performance, supporting imaging teams, and ensuring services operate safely, efficiently, and in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Radiology Operations Leadership
- Oversee daily operations of radiology and diagnostic imaging services across multiple sites
- Ensure efficient workflows, scheduling, and patient throughput
- Maintain consistent imaging protocols and high standards of patient care and safety
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop radiology technologists and imaging staff
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of imaging professionals
Quality, Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., ACR, OSHA, HIPAA)
- Monitor imaging quality and equipment performance
- Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain inspection readiness
Operational Performance & Growth
- Track key metrics such as volume, turnaround times, and productivity
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows and patient experience
- Support implementation of new technologies and process improvements
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to enhance care delivery
Patient Experience
- Ensure compassionate, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic services
- Address challenges impacting patient access, scheduling, and service quality
- Promote a patient-first culture across all imaging teams
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, with strong preference for radiology or diagnostic imaging management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Sciences, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Clinical Background: Radiology technologist certification or imaging operations experience strongly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with PACS, RIS, EHR systems, and imaging workflow management tools.
