Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging procedures while providing exceptional patient care in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to create a comfortable and supportive experience for patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained according to established protocols
- Educate patients regarding mammography procedures and answer questions
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout examinations
- Follow radiation safety and quality assurance guidelines
- Document procedures accurately within the imaging system and medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support patient care
- Assist with equipment quality control and department compliance initiatives
Productivity Expectations
- Approximately 20 patient visits per day
- Two imaging rooms available
