Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Location: Lawrenceville, GA 30046
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Hours: 36 hours/week (3x12-hour shifts)

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience within the specialty.
  • No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
  • Required Certifications:
    • ARRT (Radiography)
    • AHA BLS
  • Experience in an Operating Room (OR) environment is required.
  • Proficiency with C-arm and portable X-ray machines is required.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Provide intraoperative imaging support using C-arm fluoroscopy during surgical procedures.
  • Operate portable X-ray equipment for bedside and surgical imaging.
  • Position patients accurately while ensuring comfort, safety, and radiation protection.
  • Verify patient identity and imaging orders prior to procedures.
  • Perform routine quality control and basic maintenance of radiology equipment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and hospital quality standards.

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Day shift, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (36 hours/week).
  • Primary responsibilities include Operating Room imaging with C-arm fluoroscopy and portable X-ray support.
