Southwoods Health is a growing medical network dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We are seeking professional Radiologic Technologists to join our team across multiple settings, including our Surgical Hospital and Imaging Centers.
 
Available Opportunities:
  • Full-Time (Operating Room): Monday – Friday, Day Shift. Based at The Surgical Hospital in Boardman.
  • Full-Time (Diagnostic): 40 hours per week. Schedule varies within operating hours (includes some Monday/Tuesday evenings until 7:00 pm and Saturday mornings).
  • Part-Time (Imaging): 25 hours per week (typically 3 eight-hour shifts). Supports various Southwoods Imaging locations.
 
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties):
  • Clinical Excellence: Competently perform diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic procedures (including intraoperative imaging in the OR) adhering to physician orders and aseptic techniques.
  • Patient Safety: Maintain strict radiation safety standards and OSHA guidelines; ensure all patients and personnel are appropriately shielded.
  • Equipment Management: Test, monitor, and calibrate imaging equipment (including C-Arms) to ensure proper function and immediate availability.
  • Quality Control: Accurately maintain records and QC documentation in compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, ODH, and The Joint Commission standards.
  • Patient Care: Communicate status updates clearly and empathetically to patients and the care team to ensure a professional environment.
  • Technical Support: Maintain an organized work area with adequate supplies and positioning aids.
 
Qualifications:
  • Certification: ARRT Registered.
  • Licensure: Valid Radiologic License for the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support: Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred; prior OR/C-Arm experience is a major plus for surgical roles.
  • Skills: Proficiency with digital X-ray systems and PACS/EMR (Meditech experience a plus); strong critical thinking and prioritization skills.
