Radiography Program Director Description: South College Asheville is seeking a Radiology Program Director to join the Radiology Department. This position is on ground at the Asheville Campus in Asheville, NC.
Primary Responsibilities: • Oversees the structure and daily operation of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, and evaluation, continued development, and general effectiveness of program curricula. • Maintain student data and analyze for retention rates, credential pass rate, employer/student surveys. • Oversee program accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). • Collaborate with the clinical coordinator to ensure adequacy and effectiveness of clinical affiliations. • Maintain program budget and fiscal resources for program administration. • Participate in department activities, including committee meetings, curriculum discussion, student solutions management, and other service activities. • Provide didactic instruction in the program each quarter.
Requirements:
Education: Hold a minimum of a masters degree
Experience: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in radiography Minimum of two years of experience as an instructor in a JRCERT accredited program Have experience in curriculum design, evaluation, instruction, program administration, and academic advising
Certification: Hold current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification Experience with JRCERT accreditation strongly preferred
