Job Title: Radiographer I
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift/Schedule: Days; 3 x 12-hour shifts (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) plus every other Saturday (36 hours weekly, every other week 48 hours). One call shift per month.
Pay: $60 - $65/hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform specialized radiologic imaging procedures to support diagnosis, treatment, and patient care for adult and pediatric populations.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and verify clinical history with physician orders.
  • Operate C-arm and O-arm imaging equipment in the operating room.
  • Work independently in a surgical environment while collaborating with surgeons and OR staff.
  • Perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical imaging procedures following department protocols.
  • Review completed procedures for technical quality and documentation accuracy.
  • Transfer images to PACS/archival systems and prepare studies for physician interpretation.
  • Perform equipment quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfection.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary care team.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular technology program orJRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Surgery/Operating Room imaging experience required.
  • O-arm experience required.
  • C-arm experience required.
  • Ability to work independently in the surgical environment.
  • Knowledge of radiologic technology principles, medical imaging, anatomy, physiology, patient positioning, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI certification in the applicable specialty within 12 months of hire.
  • AHA BLS certification required.

Preferences:

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • No additional preferred certifications or experience specified.
