Job Title: Radiation Therapy Technologist

Duration: 13 Weeks
Facility: Radiation Oncology – Lake Oconee
Location: 1000 Cowles Clinic Way, Magnolia Building, Greensboro, GA 30642

Schedule: Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Therapy experience required.
• Current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Current ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy certification required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Experience administering external beam radiation therapy in an outpatient oncology setting.
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols, treatment planning, and quality assurance procedures.
• Excellent patient care, communication, and technical skills.
• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders and treatment plans.
• Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy while ensuring comfort, accuracy, and reproducibility of treatment setups.
• Operate linear accelerators and other radiation therapy equipment to deliver precise therapeutic radiation doses.
• Verify treatment parameters, patient identity, and treatment fields before each procedure.
