Hours: PRN (As needed)
Administers radiation therapy by exposing specific areas of the patients body to prescribed doses of radiation. Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions, noting on the patients chart such information as the area treated, the radiation dosage, equipment control settings, the patients reactions, and the total amount of radiation received to date while delivering excellence patient care.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a staff therapist and current knowledge of appropriate clinical practice, radiation protection and quality assurance, patient management and care, charges, basic dosimetry and equipment.
License(s)/Certification(s):
ARRT registration in Radiation Therapy required
Iowa Permit to Practice as a Radiation Therapist required
