Radiation Therapist Radiology / Cardiology

Required Skills:
- Valid ARRT Certification in Therapeutic Radiation (ARRT-T)
- State of Louisiana licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience
- Strong knowledge of radiologic protocols and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to dynamic clinical settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Certification in additional modalities such as ARRT-R (Radiography)
- Experience working in high-volume treatment centers
- Skills in electronic medical record documentation
- Prior experience with emergency or relief team assignments
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiologic Technology, or related field
- Proven track record in radiology or cardiology treatment environments
- Flexible team player with a proactive approach to patient care
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to be part of emergency response teams for facility coverage
- Ability to work day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, with flexibility based on volume
- Capacity to work 4/10-hour shifts; hour hours may vary
- Always work in pairs (2 therapists per machine)
