Job Details:
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Environmental Services staff
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation procedures in patient rooms, offices, and common areas
- Ensure proper isolation, discharge, and terminal cleaning practices are followed
- Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence
- Assist with staffing schedules, assignments, and departmental workflow
- Oversee floor care, waste management, bed washing, and other environmental services functions
- Collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical departments to support patient satisfaction and operational goals
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- Previous Environmental Services experience in a healthcare setting required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Knowledge of infection prevention, safety, and regulatory standards
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as needed
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced healthcare environment
