A manufacturing company specializing in the production of motor vehicle safety products is looking to add a Quality Technician to their team. The position is primarily responsible for the development, evaluation, and refinement of new prototypes and processes.
Responsibilities:
* Create design concepts, cut plans, and assembly layouts that align with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and functional criteria.
* Construct and assemble prototypes by interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical diagrams.
* Offer technical assistance and prepare samples for evaluation and testing.
* Contribute to product modifications and design updates when required.
* Utilize textile production and testing machinery in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in any department
* Experience working with prototypes (early manufacturing processes) and sample preparation
* Must have experience with small hand tools and measuring devices (calipers, multimeters).
