Engineering Technician / Engineering Specialist (Medical Device)

Location: Winston-Salem, NC
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate:$19.00 – $22.00 per hour to start (based on experience)

We’re seeking a hands-on Engineering Technician / Engineering Specialist for our client, a growing medical device manufacturer in Winston-Salem, NC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble prototype medical devices with precision
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of devices
  • Accurately document results, inspections, and outcomes
  • Follow detailed technical instructions and engineering procedures
  • Collaborate with:
    • Engineers
    • Technicians
    • Cross-functional teams
  • Support research, development, and production initiatives
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) preferred
    (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Strong reading comprehension and communication skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity (precision assembly required)
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain documentation
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new projects and processes
