We are seeking a R&D Engineer Chillers to join our HVAC R&D Center located in Alpharetta Georgia. The R&D Engineer Chillers will develop expertise in the manufacturing and development of LGE HVAC equipment to provide better value to its customers where you will conduct research and development based on analytical thinking and market understanding.WHAT YOU WILL DOProvide HVAC Engineering insight and improvement solution for new HVAC product development.Screen analyze and support new HVAC product performance and provide recommendations for next steps.Statistically evaluate interpret and support collected product data.Evaluate analyze and support data collected from field-based testing data using statistical approach.Review shortcomings and faults of current design to pinpoint weaknesses and improvement points.Communicate and support various HVAC R&D and factory laboratories to provide US usage-based engineering and design statistics.Understand and support acquisition hardwaresoftware to create acquisition models for lab purpose.Assist in preparation for service manual installation manual and engineering manual for US commercialization after product launch.QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.3 years of experience.HVAC experience is preferredExposure to a variety of manufacturing processes and designing for manufacturability.Ability to multi-task and operate independently.Experience with one of the following agency certifications CSA UL or DOE is a plus.Recruiting Range70000-80000 USDBenefits Offered Full-Time EmployeesNo-cost employee premiums for you and your eligible dependents for competitive medical dental vision and prescription benefits.Auto enrollment with immediate vesting of competitive company matching contributions in a 401k Retirement Savings Plan with several investmentoptions.Generous Paid Time Off program that includes company holidays and a combined bank of paid sick and vacation time.
