Quote Technician

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The main function of the Quotation Technician is to develop, executive, tracking and communicating quotes, cost, net and list of prices for special products upon request for customers. This is accomplished by following, published process, guidelines, standard engineering design guidelines, and implementations of supported application information from field tests.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Develop and document product quotation guidelines and policy for general distribution to the quotation guidelines and policy for general distribution to the quotations group and engineering.
• Work closely with buyers, engineers, and suppliers to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Complete quotation on a timely basis in reference to 2 day turnaround time.
• Provide as needed quotation working drawings from the SAP system for customer approvals.
• Assist with the addition and corrections to the routing sheet in the SAP Engineering and quotations systems to comply with any process changes.
• Provide customer support in standard and special tooling phone calls.
• Maintain records and work area in proper order.
• Maintain confidentiality of all designs and process criteria relating to the products manufactured by the company.
• Maintain an appropriate/ professional working relationship with outside vendors and customers.
