Job Summary

 

The Quick Lane Automotive Service Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient service while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the automotive service industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately
  • Inspect vehicle fluid levels and top off as needed (oil, coolant, brake, transmission, washer fluid)
  • Rotate and balance tires as required
  • Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
  • Replace basic wear items such as air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
  • Identify and communicate additional maintenance needs to service advisors
  • Follow all dealership and manufacturer procedures and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Use shop equipment and tools properly and safely
  • Deliver timely service while maintaining quality standards

 

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Basic mechanical knowledge or automotive experience preferred 
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

 

Preferred Skills

  • Prior lube technician or automotive service experience
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and advance in automotive service
