Central Stone Company has an immediate full-time opening for 1st Shift Quarry Laborer at our Moscow Mill, MO location. The Quarry Laborer is involved with the activities associated with the rock crushing processing plant; you will be responsible for plant cleanup, operating water truck, assisting with plant maintenance and following all site health and safety regulations. Candidates must be dependable and available to work overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates would be experienced with general manufacturing processes and/or heavy equipment operation and maintenance, but we are happy to train those with the proper mindset and work ethic. This position typically works Monday through Friday - with occasional Saturdays depending on peal season needs.

Quarry Laborer candidate requirements:

• Safety-Focused
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience with general manufacturing processes and/or operating/maintaining heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform rigorous physical activities in all weather conditions
• Self-motivated with a solid work ethic

Quarry Laborer major responsibilities include:

• While crushing plant is in operation this position, will walk around and observe crushers and conveyors for proper function.
• Perform clean up using manual means along with operating skid steer.
• Operate automatic transmission tandem axle water truck for dust suppression on quarry roadways.
• Perform greasing of bearings and assist with maintenance of crushers, pulleys, bearings, gearboxes, belting, etc.
• Assist fellow crews members with plant mode changes.
• Complete all task in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and Mine Safety & Health Administration.
• Perform pre-shift work place and equipment safety inspections.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
