An established financial services organization is seeking a Quantitative Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role focuses on designing and executing automated testing for front office trading and financial applications.

About the Opportunity:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Hybrid (hybrid, 2-3 days in office)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems, including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
  • Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to support application stability and accuracy.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Document test plans, test data, and test results while ensuring coverage aligns with business processes and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in capital markets fixed income, including swaps and derivatives trading systems.
  • Strong Python development skills.
  • Experience designing and executing automated test scripts for financial or trading applications.
  • Experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows, financial instruments, and market data systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Java or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Agile development and continuous integration tools.
  • Exposure to front office applications, including trading platforms or market data feeds.
