This position reports to:

Quality Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

  •  Perform transformer testing to verify compliance with performance specifications and quality standards 
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials in accordance with quality procedures 
  • Conduct routine maintenance of testing equipment 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company standards 
  • Provide training and guidance to team members as required 
  • Follow written and verbal instructions 
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing environment, assembly or casting preferred
  • Experience using computers Microsoft office apps like excel, word and web applications
  • Ability and willingness to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Skilled in using tools, such as a screwdriver, and crimper
  • Ability and willingness to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Understand and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States
