The Quality Technician will maintain metrics, analyze information and summarize indicators to identify trends that adversely affect product quality and business performance.
Communicate with departments on Non-Conformance / Corrective Action status.
Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities (Rework, Deviations, Scrap, etc.)
Help implement quality initiatives and efficiencies
Collect, analyze and report trends that affect quality
Prepare performance metrics and quality reports
Maintain records including SQDC and KPI Boards
Assist with the preparation of FAIR (First Article Inspection reports)
Associates degree, 2 years of college experience or 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to analyze information and identify trends
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency working with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using light industrial testing equipment, a plus
Experience using CMM Vision System, a plus
