Summary
The Quality Technician will maintain metrics, analyze information and summarize indicators to identify trends that adversely affect product quality and business performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Communicate with departments on Non-Conformance / Corrective Action status. • Support MRB (Material Review Board) activities (Rework, Deviations, Scrap, etc.) • Help implement quality initiatives and efficiencies • Collect, analyze and report trends that affect quality • Prepare performance metrics and quality reports • Maintain records including SQDC and KPI Boards • Assist with the preparation of FAIR (First Article Inspection reports)
Qualifications/Requirements
Associates degree, 2 years of college experience or 2 years of experience as a Quality Technician
Requirements:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and identify trends • Strong attention to detail • Strong organizational skills • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Proficiency working with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Additional Requirements:
• Experience using light industrial testing equipment, a plus • Experience using CMM Vision System, a plus
