JSG is hiring a Quality Technician in Melbourne, FL. Schedule 7am-5:30pm with EVERY Friday off!
 

Skills:
  • Adherence to our quality management system
  • Perform and support in?process inspection, final quality control, and receiving inspection
  • Review and maintain FAIs, control plans, and inspection documentation
  • Support and maintain awareness of all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
  • Experience working with drawings, specifications, inspection requirements, and departmental procedures
  • Understanding of general dimensioning and tolerancing GDT principles and application to inspection.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical process methods, tools and application to manufacturing control.
  • Proficiency with mechanical inspection equipment such as micrometers, drop gauges, pin gauges.
  • Programming of optical metrology systems Keyence and OGP preferred.
  • Effective use of microscopes (10–40x) to identify workmanship defects
  • Actively participate on behalf of the quality team both internally and externally on new projects,  contract review for quality requirements, RMA’s, CAR’s, production support and general customer service support.
  • Identify areas to invest in support of future growth
  • Continually seek ways to increase throughput and increase repeatability of the  inspection process.
