POSITION TITLE: Quality Technician

FLSA: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO: QC Manager

DATE: February 2026

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position plays a key role in maintaining product quality throughout the manufacturing process. This position is responsible for supporting or performing inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure they meet specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations. The Quality Technician is responsible for implementing quality control measures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop systems that will help improve current processes. • Perform inspections of in-process and finished products. • Open, report Non-conformances and assist in root cause investigations and other continuous improvement activities • Perform process and product audits • Perform tests as required and record results in laboratory information systems. • Supports and/or performs First Article inspections. • Run Kaizen events or Continuous Improvement Teams. • Create and/or update work instruction, SOPs, and any quality documentation or programs and provide training to inspectors/operators to ensure that process parameters are being met and that everyone in the process understands their roles and requirements. • Perform dimensional checks using tools such as calipers, tape measures, height gauges, and angle finders. • Prepare quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. • Verify Materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual, document review, and measurement tests. • Assist in quality-related training of employees. • Utilizes and promotes the concepts of continuous improvement, including lean. • Attending and participating in internal and external training and educational courses required by the company.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associates or Bachelors in a Technical field required 3+ years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing sector. Familiarity with Lean, Quality Tools, Six Sigma, Audits, or corrective action methods. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, calibration, and test instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excell and Power Point) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Proven leadership, interpersonal skills, and personal development skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Teamwork skills Bilingual
