  • Sabert is looking for a Quality Technician to join the team!

Day shift Schedule

Job Summary:

The quality technician will be responsible for technical support and training of all quality related operations personnel. The responsibilities will also include the conducting tests, visual inspections, and statistical process control data analysis to meet internal and external specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that quality protocols are followed.
  • Ensure "Scrap Protocol" is followed.
  • Ensure that parts sampled meet manufacturing specifications.
  • Ensure that the lines are audited and quality issues are reported and resolved for the lines that are in their area of responsibility.
  • Ensure that data entered into appropriate database.
  • Work with the Supervisor to rework small quantities of production on hold, provided such is consistent with Scrap Protocol.
  • Audits product and process to verify conformance to standards and specifications.
  • Write and submit audit report to supervisory personnel as required.
  • Performs all necessary tests as required by Quality Matrix.
  • Recognize common visual defects
  • Prepare all required paperwork and forms
  • Function in team environment
  • Communicate with all personnel involved
  • Work as a team in assisting in solving operations issues
  • Communicate quality related information to Operations & Quality Manager
  • Ability to perform all job functions in a safe manner
  • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to understand control charts for reporting purposes.
  • Good computer skills and understanding of various databases.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Possess basic SPC skills
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents
  • Ability to write routine repots and correspondence

Schedule:

  • 12 hours shift: Day Shift 6:00 am to 6:00 pm

  • 12 hours shift: Night Shift 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

  • 2-2-3 work schedule
