Quality Technician

Quality Technician Role Description:

The Quality Technician applies knowledge of the quality function to assure compliance to our Quality Policies and Procedures. Must perform work in accordance with all customer standards. This individual will be responsible for maintaining applicable quality systems as outlined below. Provides assistance to the senior quality staff as needed to fulfill internal & external customer needs.

Quality Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dimensional evaluation of production parts, first/last piece approvals, and audits as required by the quality system.
• Work with production associates to assure the proper usage of measurement instruments on the production floor.
• Work with production associates to assure the proper usage of inspection instructions on the production floor.
• Assist in the design and development of new quality systems.
• Perform special quality studies.
• Assist in problem solving of quality issues at customer facilities as needed.
• Prepare reports for customer review as needed.
• Provide feedback on dimensional concerns to toolroom, engineering, and manufacturing.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Experience:

• Minimum two years quality experience.
• Minimum two years in assembly
• Print reading, GD&T, and CMM experience
