Summary
Lincoln Electric Automation is seeking a Quality Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Chattanooga, TN. This role plays a key part in ensuring product integrity by performing dimensional inspections, supporting assembly troubleshooting, and validating components against engineering specifications.
Youll work with advanced metrology toolsincluding portable (Faro Arm) and bridge CMMswhile collaborating closely with engineering, production, and quality teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, precision measurement, and contributing to continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Inspection & Metrology
Perform dimensional inspections using:
Basic tools (rulers, tape measures)
Precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
Conduct measurements and troubleshooting using Faro Arm portable CMM
Calibrate probes and interpret measurement data to support tooling adjustments
Perform detailed layouts using bridge CMM
Mechanical & Assembly Support
CMM Programming & Analysis
Blueprint Interpretation & Quality Validation
CAD & Technical Support
Documentation & Compliance
