### About the Role
The Quality Department Team Lead plays a key role in ensuring daily operational excellence within the Quality Department of our window manufacturing facility. This role supports the Supervisor/Manager by:
- Training
- Coaching
- Developing employees
- Monitoring quality processes
- Ensuring compliance with company standards
- Maintaining accuracy and safety throughout the department
The Quality Team Lead helps direct the workflow of materials and team activities to optimize productivity, quality, and safety.
### Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Westlake Safety Policies
- Exhibit consistent attendance, punctuality, and scheduling flexibility
- Promote and support a zero-injury safety culture
- Provide leadership and direction to Quality team members
- Ensure employees follow all policies and procedures related to quality and inventory handling
- Direct and support employees as needed to meet departmental objectives
- Oversee daily quality control and department operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area

### Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Computer and software experience
- Previous quality experience in warehousing or manufacturing preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
### Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Exposure to temperature extremes and high noise levels
- Ability to stand for long periods up to 12 hours, perform repetitive movements, bend, twist, and use hand tools
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs
