Quality Supervisor | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $66,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures.
  • Supervise and train quality control staff on inspection and testing methods.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Manage the calibration and maintenance of all quality inspection equipment.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
  • Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control or assurance within a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Bonus Qualifications
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement
  • Experience with ISO 9001 implementation and auditing
