Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure all incoming & outgoing materials comply with quality inspection standards in accordance with the company's /Quality Control Manual (QCM), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
Oversee daily Receiving & Shipping Department operations, ensuring all receiving & Shipping activities are performed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
Delegate daily responsibilities across the Receiving and Shipping team members and monitor execution.
Communicate operational changes or disruptions to the Director of Quality and Operations immediately
Provide ongoing training and mentorship to staff; ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and regulatory protocols.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the receiving & Shipping department.
Work directly with the warehouse supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Monitor and manage Receiving & Shipping Queue workflow to ensure all materials are processed in the order received while maintaining operational efficiency and turnaround time objectives.
Track and analyze all KPI's for the shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse departments
Verify part numbers (P/N), serial numbers (S/N), documentation, and traceability for all materials shipped to and received from AerSale facilities and customers.
Conduct routine audits and inspections of receiving processes, inventory records, and employee performance to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Operations teams to resolve receiving discrepancies, documentation issues, and material status concerns.
Ensure department staffing coverage, including managing schedules/time off and assigning work based on operational needs.
Participate in staff meetings and contribute constructive input for process improvement.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
