Job Description Summary
The Quality Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all laboratory activities on site. This position utilizes their leadership skills, knowledge of food safety, lab procedures, employee safety and environment to ensure the laboratory operates smoothly while maintaining effective quality control and Food Safety systems and programs.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in a production and laboratory setting. Hours of work will generally be during regular business hours with at least 40 hours a week. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., at times there will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines and other quality concerns. Travel will be required to maintain all the necessary certification, audit suppliers or customers and participate at the yearly group quality meetings.
The employee occasionally works in proximity to fumes or air-born particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and in non-weather related extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Protective Equipment: Employees must wear safety glasses, non-slip safety toe shoes, protective gloves, hair net, Tyvex gown, ear protection, and all other applicable PPE as required.
