Quality Specialist 

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector III to support quality operations within a regulated manufacturing environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring product quality, maintaining documentation accuracy, supporting inspection activities, and assisting with quality system processes.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing quality, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform quality inspections and review manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Review production records and verify required documentation, signatures, and data are properly completed.
  • Support incoming material inspection activities and process inspection records.
  • Assist with nonconforming material processing, documentation, and material disposition activities.
  • Maintain accurate quality records and support document control processes.
  • Assist with quality metrics collection, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support training administration activities, including maintaining training records and documentation.
  • Coordinate and track quality-related documentation and records.
  • Identify and report product, process, or documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain traceability and proper control of quality records and materials.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits as needed.
  • Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional quality and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Additional technical training, certification, or college coursework is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using ERP, quality management, document control, or manufacturing software systems is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, aerospace, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, document control, nonconformance processing, and traceability requirements.
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance activities.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and continuous improvement practices.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands requiring strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to move throughout a manufacturing environment as needed.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
