Overview:

Abacus Technology is seeking a Quality Specialist to support quality assurance for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality assurance support for the 26 NOS.
  • Provide services and support to validate and evaluate certification and knowledge appropriate with that of Security+, Remedy, Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT), Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO), Self-Assessment Program (SAP), Performance Evaluations, Equipment Evaluation, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Corrosion Prevention and Control Program, Local Work Card validation, Audits and Training.
  • Ensure compliance with all checklists, appendices, local job guides, technical orders, operating instructions (local, AF and DoD) and guidance memorandums.
  • Conduct monthly inspections utilizing latest QA PMI checklist and document findings to include general cleaning and corrosion control on all equipment managed.
Qualifications:

3+ years experience in quality assurance for IT programs.  HS diploma or GED.  Experience developing and implementing quality programs such as verification and validation, configuration management, ISO certification, total quality management, quality assurance (QA), QC, and continuous improvement.  Experience coordinating with the program and/or project manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction.  Experience performing analysis of business processes and tracking data to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.  Experience developing reports to recommend changes to improve processes and trend analysis of program issues.  Outstanding communication skills across all levels of the organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
