    Department: Quality Risk Management

    Provides system administrative and functional support for all aspects of policy and procedure management. Serves as a resource for policies and procedures and communicates the processes of standardization, development/revision of policies. Participates in both clinical and non-clinical projects. Initiates, identifies, analyzes, formulates, revises, produces, and maintains a wide variety of policies, operational procedures, forms and documents. Manages the System's policy libraries and archives. Works with all departments to integrate policies and procedures with forms, logs and other types of documentation and makes these available using various technology and media. Coordinates and facilitates with development, implementation and communication of system clinical forms and the relationship to policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    Coordinates the processes for development, revision and publication of policies and procedures for all system departments. Assists with the integration of various technology tools. Serves as a resource and educates staff in policy and procedure processes. Ensures documents are properly prepared to include grammar, punctuation, and formatted in accordance with organizational guidelines. Analyzes and determines the validity of draft and/or proposed publications submitted for processing, coordination or publication. Analyzes policies and procedures assuring internal consistency and consistency with pre-existing policies. Publishes and maintains policies and procedures.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Required: High school diploma or equivalent

    Preferred: Associate degree in health-related discipline from an accredited school or college.

    Experience:

    Required: 3 years of experience working with computer programs.

    Preferred: Healthcare setting with policy and procedure experience.
