Job Title: Quality Shipping Administrator
Location: Orange, CT 06477
Contract Length: 3-month contract – Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $20–$24/hr
Work Schedule: Full-time, Onsite
Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Quality Shipping Administrator to support our shipping and quality assurance processes. This role ensures that all outgoing shipments meet company and customer quality standards through proper inspection, documentation, and coordination with internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform pre-shipment quality checks to verify product integrity, labeling, and packaging accuracy
Ensure all shipments meet contract review requirements
Investigate and track any quality issues during shipping and coordinate corrective actions
Maintain inspection reports, QA documentation, and non-conformance records
Address customer inquiries related to shipping status or quality concerns
Collaborate with customer service to ensure accurate shipping information
File and organize electronic QA certification records
Assist lead inspector and department manager as needed
Perform other administrative or QA-related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
2–4 years of quality inspection or shipping/receiving experience – Strongly Preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
Ability to read, write, and interpret technical or customer shipping requirements
Experience with ERP systems – Preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Microsoft Office proficiency – especially Excel for data tracking/reporting
Basic knowledge of quality control standards and processes
