The Quality Review Specialist will complete quality review of tasks, emails, and/or phone calls completed by Operations departments, which may involve New Business, Customer Service, and Administration in accordance with standard operating procedures and service.  Identify trends and areas of opportunity.  Work with management to evaluate present and future training needs.

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit insurance policies, claims, and other documents for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Identify and report any errors, discrepancies, or inconsistencies in the insurance data and processes.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the quality and efficiency of the insurance operations and claims administration.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to resolve any quality issues or customer complaints.
  • Conduct quality assurance training and coaching for staff based on the Mastery levels framework.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct ongoing quality control review of work product for all operations staff and reporting and continually complete analysis of the department’s training needs.
  • Partner with Operations management and Training teams to recommend, develop and facilitate ongoing training programs, as necessary, to ensure needs are being met and training remains current.
  • Facilitate calibration sessions (leadership and new hire).
  • Process all other duties as assigned by department management.

Qualifications

Education

  • College preferred
  • LOMA 281, LOMA 291 and ACS 100 preferred

 

Experience/Knowledge

  • 3+ years of quality review, audit, or compliance experience or 2+ years of demonstrated high performance within insurance operations, with strong attention to accuracy, compliance, and customer outcomes
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, services, and processes
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
  • Knowledge of life insurance products and concepts, strongly preferred

What’s in it for you?

 

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $61,300 - $80,000 annually.  This is a remote opportunity working on EST.

 

The total compensation package for this position may include other elements, such as a sign-on bonus, long term incentives, and annual bonuses.  This role is eligible to participate in the Annual Incentive Plan. The current target payment for the position is 8% of base salary, modified for corporate and individual performance. Bonuses are pro-rated based on start date.  This role has 15 vacation days and 10 sick days that are accrued on a bi-weekly basis. Employees also have 9 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
