Quality MRB / EPC Controller Reports To: Quality Manager Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (overtime as needed) Pay Range: $25–$35/hour (based on experience) Position SummaryThe Quality MRB / EPC Controller supports a high-volume manufacturing environment by managing nonconforming materials and ensuring smooth product flow through containment and inspection processes. This role works closely with Production Control and Shipping to meet customer expectations, while maintaining accurate tracking, reporting, and inventory control within the EPC and MRB processes. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily product flow through the EPC area with Production Control and Shipping
Inspect nonconforming or suspect parts requiring containment, sorting, or EPC review
Lead daily priorities and provide direction to EPC auditors
Maintain traceability of all materials placed in Quality Hold (MRB)
Manage area layout and product staging for efficient workflow
Report daily findings, including repeat nonconformances and rejected parts, to leadership
Track and report weekly metrics related to sorting efficiency and internal performance
Maintain RMA inventory and report status to Quality leadership
Ensure all MRB and EPC logs are accurate and consistently maintained
Partner with Quality leadership on staffing needs and overtime scheduling
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a manufacturing or quality environment (automotive preferred)
Working knowledge of Lean principles
Basic blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Experience using inspection tools and equipment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with ERP systems (inventory control focus preferred)
Demonstrated leadership ability in a team-based environment

Frequent standing and walking

Work Environment
Manufacturing shop environment with moderate noise and dust
Exposure to moving equipment including forklifts
Variable temperatures due to open doors and seasonal changes
Potential exposure to oils, coolants, and sharp-edged materials
Occasional outdoor work as needed
