Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve quality systems within a precision manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee quality operations, drive compliance initiatives, support customer requirements, and partner with production leadership to ensure products consistently meet specifications and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain the company's quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Develop, implement, and improve inspection processes, quality procedures, and control plans.
  • Manage customer quality concerns, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee internal audits, external audits, and customer quality assessments.
  • Review and approve PPAP documentation, quality records, and process validation activities.
  • Monitor supplier quality performance and collaborate with vendors to improve quality and delivery metrics.
  • Track and report key quality indicators, including scrap, rework, nonconformance trends, and customer complaints.
  • Ensure calibration programs and inspection equipment remain compliant and properly maintained.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
  • Supervise quality personnel and provide leadership, training, and performance management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Experience with PPAP, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and supplier quality.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
  • Hands-on experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in metal stamping, machining, fabrication, or precision manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
