Quality Manager | Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Lansing region seeking Quality Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams.
  • Oversee product inspection, testing, and release processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
  • Manage supplier quality, including audits and performance monitoring.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) for non-conformances.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with implementing and managing Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
  • Proven ability to lead and develop quality teams, including strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM/OE) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt are highly preferred.
