Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Quality Management System to assure compliance with the ISO 9001:2015 standard

  • Schedule ISO quality audits and prepare facilities for success.

  • Manage the internal audit system

  • Manage all Quality System documentation

  • Manage calibration of all test equipment

  • Report monthly on quality-related metrics

  • Supervise internal corrective action system and respond to customerinitiatedcorrect action requests

  • Coordinate customer claims bydeterminingmerit, investigating root causes, authorizing disposition, and coordinating return of material and final disposition

  • Assistcustomers in product development and problem solving

  • Oversee reporting of relevant customer data including Reach, RoHS, Prop-65, Conflict Minerals, and USMCA (NAFTA).

  • Develop, formulate, and direct implementation of inspection procedures

  • Provide technical support to Sales, Production and Purchasing teams

  • Review new products andassistin development of customer specifications

  • Assistin process improvement/development projects

  • Collect and report key vendor metrics and performance evaluations

  • Assistin review and approval process for new suppliers

  • Communicate and review technical aspects of raw materials withappropriate personnelat producing mills

  • Evaluate process and product performance

  • Direct supervision of quality technicians at each location

  • A 4-year college degree is required.

  • Experience with ISO-9001:2015 Standards

  • Understanding of Lean Management Principles

  • Knowledge of base metal technology and experience in a production environment

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office; Excel, Access, Word, Outlook

  • Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and production personnel.
