We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Permanent Quality Manager to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and safety of our food products and maintaining our reputation for excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our quality management system, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

As our Permanent Quality Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our quality management system.
2. Ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards, and other relevant regulations and standards.
3. Leading and managing Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes, including the investigation of non-conformities, determination of root causes, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
4. Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase operational efficiency.
5. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the integration of quality management principles into all aspects of our operations.
6. Conducting regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
7. Providing training and guidance to staff on quality management and food safety practices.
8. Managing relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Agriculture, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role in the food manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge and understanding of GMPs, SQF, and CAPA processes.
4. Proven experience in developing and implementing quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.
8. A strong commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of food products.
