What you will be doing:- Lead the Quality Assurance team in maintaining and improving quality systems, procedures, and metrics across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer and third-party audits, corrective actions, and product quality issues.
- Implement and drive Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce variability, defects, and non-conformities.
- Monitor quality KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and report results to senior management.
- Develop, mentor, and train quality personnel to enhance team performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Customer Service, and Supply Chain to resolve root causes of quality issues using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
- Oversee supplier quality performance and assist in qualification and audit activities.
- Champion a culture of Continuous Improvement and operational excellence throughout the facility.
Experience you will need:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or Lean Practitioner Certification.
- Proven track record of leading successful quality initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis).
- Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality management.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities.
- Working knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP systems (preferred).
- Experience using Microsoft SharePoint for document control and collaboration (preferred).
- Demonstrated success leading Continuous Improvement initiatives (preferred).
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards or compliance requirements (preferred).
