Quality Management SpecialistOur client, a leading manufacturer of electrical assemblies and fixtures, primarily serves the commercial and residential industries, such as business offices, hotels, and restaurants with their product line. They are headquartered just outside Chicago and have around 130 employees on site.Job DescriptionDesign and implement a quality management system best suited for our business model.Develop, implement, and maintain quality-related KPIs for all sites.Manage and oversee the RMA process within all North American manufacturing facilities.Oversee & participate in Customer Satisfaction activities.Participate in design for manufacturability activities for cost effectiveness & product.Manage & maintain revision control on all production and quality documentation and records in accordance with best practices and business objectives.Work closely with vendors on quality issues to bring to a conclusion. Includes SCAR/8D generation and resolution.Maintain and track all quality issues and manage to resolution.Manage incoming quality, in-process inspection, final quality, and all quality-related activities.Measure, manage, report, and control all Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) activities throughout the organization.Perform administrative duties concerning company policies, rules, quality, and safety.Ensure all production employees are properly trained in Safety, Quality and job-specific skills.Deploy & create PFMEA documentation, methodologies, and practices.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
