Our organization, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Quality Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing our Quality Management Systems to ensure the highest level of product quality, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be a key player in our organization, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading our team to excellence. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the Quality Management Systems, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and other relevant industry standards.
2. Lead the investigation of non-conformance reports (NCMRs) and customer complaints, utilizing root cause analysis, and implementing effective corrective actions.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, utilizing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality.
4. Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards, ensuring they are communicated and understood across the organization.
5. Conduct regular audits of the Quality Management Systems, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
6. Utilize Pareto diagrams, Fishbone Diagrams, and other quality tools to analyze data, identify trends, and drive decision making.
7. Lead and develop the quality team, ensuring they are trained and competent in all relevant procedures and standards.
8. Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining strong relationships.
9. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Manager role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems and AS9100.
4. Proven experience with NCMRs, Root Cause Analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
5. Certified Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt preferred.
6. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Proficient in the use of quality tools such as Pareto diagrams and Fishbone Diagrams.
8. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
9. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Ability to liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and all levels of staff within the organization.
